Art Mediums

Art Students have the option to work with acrylic or oil paints, watercolor, graphite, and mixed media.

  • Acrylic & Oil Students: 1, 11×14 or 16×20 Canvas per block of classes is offered per registration
  • Drawing/Mixed Media Students: 1, 16×20 Drawing paper or 16×20 watercolor paper per block of classes is offered per registration

Culinary

Our Cooking classes will help you build confidence, de-stress and will break up the monotony of your cooking repertoire! All culinary tools and ingredients are included for use in the program. Each week, Culinary Students’ completed recipes can be taken home in to-go boxes provided by the Studio.

Our philosophy is to show how through hands-on demonstration and individualized instruction. We are passionate about guiding and challenging your child to unleash their inner creativity and take pride in their own creations.

Policies

Student absences & make- up classes: Aspiring Artists & Dare to Draw Art Students are offered up to 1 make-up class regardless of quantity of missed classes within their current registration period. A make up class must be used (no later than) 14 days past the registered student’s last scheduled class. Aspiring Artists & Dare to Draw students are encouraged to attend alternate/additional open studio times between these programs to ensure satisfactory studio time and support for art work completion. Unused sessions due to a student absence can not be carried over, credited, pro-rated, or refunded.

Inclement weather/emergency Closings & low enrollment cancellations are as follows: In the event that Hammar’s Studios cancels a class or has an emergency closing; Hammar’s Studios will offer all registered parties a make-up class of same or equal value, a store credit in the amount of customer’s original purchase, or a refund in the original form of tender. Classes with low enrollment are subject to cancellation with a full refund to all registered clients via original form of payment. If you are considering enrolling, please do because earlier enrollments help to ensure the class will be running!

Cancellations

Weekly Programs & Camps: Cancellations, Exchanges & Absences For weekly programs & camps, any exchanges or cancellations must be requested via email 14 days prior to the first day of the series to receive a refund for the series, less a $35.00 cancellation/exchange fee. For less than 14 days notice, we are not able to offer partial cancellations or makeup classes for individual sick days that are missed. Cancellations and withdrawals after an art class/program/painting event/workshop/art camp has begun will not entitle the student to any refund, studio credit, or make-up classes.

Abandoned Artwork: Completed, incomplete, framed or unframed; Artwork can not be held in our studio for longer than 7 days following the registered student’s last class or 7 days past completing a framing order. Hammar’s Studios will not be held responsible or liable in any way for artwork that is left behind or unclaimed that exceeds the above times. In the event it’s impossible to return to our studio, shipping and handling could be arranged for a nominal fee. Please contact us by telephone at 603-751-8008 or e-mail info@hammarsartstudio.com. As a courtesy, Hammar’s Studios will extend 1 courtesy phone call and 1 e-mail to remind the students with art materials in our possession. *If Artwork is not picked up within the 7 day time frame, Hammar’s Art Studio & Cultural Center reserves the right to recycle, reclaim or donate any unclaimed artworks.
